{"id":23597,"date":"2026-02-26T20:04:19","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T20:04:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/21stcenturyu.net\/BRICSnews\/ri-seeks-to-preserve-zero-tariff-deal-with-us-after-court-ruling\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T20:04:19","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T20:04:19","slug":"ri-seeks-to-preserve-zero-tariff-deal-with-us-after-court-ruling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/21stcenturyu.net\/BRICSnews\/ri-seeks-to-preserve-zero-tariff-deal-with-us-after-court-ruling\/","title":{"rendered":"RI seeks to preserve zero-tariff deal with US after court ruling"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJakarta (ANTARA) &#8211; Indonesia seeks to preserve zero\u2011tariff access for key exports to the United States, despite a Supreme Court ruling that annulled President Donald Trump\u2019s reciprocal tariff policy, officials confirmed following the signing of a bilateral trade deal.<\/p>\n<p>Trade Minister Budi Santoso said consultations remain ongoing after the court\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, the agreement we have signed, which allows Indonesian products to enter the US market with zero tariffs, is still expected to continue,\u201d he told reporters in Jakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>On February 19, Indonesia and the US formally signed a reciprocal tariff agreement granting duty\u2011free access to 1,819 Indonesian product lines. <\/p>\n<p>These include palm oil, coffee, cocoa, spices, rubber, semiconductors, and aircraft parts.
